By completing a purchase with Mercy & Me Handmade, the customer acknowledges that they have reviewed the product description, current turnaround times, and shop policies. Placing an order confirms acceptance of these terms. Because most items are handmade to order, purchases are considered a commitment once production has begun.
Final Sale Policy
Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of our products, all sales from Mercy & Me Handmade are final.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on items once they have been completed and shipped.

Please review product details carefully before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.
Because most items are handmade to order, cancellations are not possible once production has started.
Shipping & Transit Responsibility
Once your order has been shipped and accepted by Canada Post or another carrier, delivery is outside the control of Mercy & Me Handmade.
We are not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or carrier-related issues once the item is in transit.
Shipping timelines are estimates only and not guaranteed.
Refunds for Shipped Orders
Refunds are not issued for items that have already shipped, regardless of the shipping method selected.
This includes:

Standard tracked shipping

Lettermail shipping
Lettermail Shipping Disclaimer
Customers who request Lettermail shipping acknowledge that:

Lettermail does not include tracking
-
Lettermail does not include insurance
By choosing Lettermail, the customer accepts the risk of loss or delay.
Mercy & Me Handmade cannot offer refunds, replacements, or shop credit for Lettermail shipments that are lost or delayed.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged during delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package.
To qualify for a damaged item claim, the following is required:

Clear photos of the damaged item

Photos of the packaging

Contact us within the 24-hour window with an email confirmation that we have seen this damage claim
Claims submitted after this time may not be eligible for review.
If damage is verified, Mercy & Me Handmade will attempt to provide:

A replacement of the same item or print (if available)

If a replacement is not possible, shop credit may be issued
Due to the handmade nature of our products, exact replacements cannot be guaranteed.
Handmade Item Variations
All items are handmade and individually crafted.
Slight variations may occur in:

pattern placement
-
fabric positioning
-
dye lots
These variations are normal and not considered defects.
Each item undergoes a quality check prior to shipping.
Compassion Exception
We understand that unexpected and heartbreaking situations can occur.
In the event of pregnancy loss involving a personalized order, please contact us directly. Exceptions may be considered on an individual and compassionate basis.
Claims & Policy Abuse
Mercy & Me Handmade reserves the right to assess claims on a case-by-case basis.
We also reserve the right to:

deny claims that do not meet policy requirements

refuse service in cases of repeated policy abuse

cancel or restrict future purchasing privileges
Proof of Damage
All damage claims must be supported by clear photographic evidence of the item and packaging.
Without photo documentation, claims cannot be processed.
